Boho chic!

hello again....last week I posted about the ideation on what I am going to do for my final product...so its a clutch bag!!!....but for this week....im going to show what is my inspiration on designing my clutch bag...so my inspiration is ''bohemian chic style"...so what is boho chic?...Boho is short for bohemian. Boho are similar to hippie looks: long flowing or tiered skirts, ethnic touches like tunics or wood jewelry, embellishment with beading or spangles, fringed handbags, jewelled or embellished flat sandals. The look is often layered and colorful...so here are some of the pictures that inspired me for designing the clutch bag...

I just love boho chic style ....

 love the bag!...

sooo boho chic...

I would wear it!...

yes or nay?

soo cute!...

love it!...

the pictures that I took its from pinterest...do check out my pinterest...see what I've been pinned for my inspiration... http://www.pinterest.com/atikahalya/textile-with-alya/

so this is my inspiration on doing my final product...the material that im going to use is...batik fabric...used denim...and some of pom poms...beads and all!...will be posting more about the material in the next post!..thanks for reading it!...xoxo

what my brain come up with

so for our final project...my lecturer ask us to produce a products that what we have been research...and looks for our insipirations...so I come up with 'batik motif fabric' as my inspirations...and I want to produce a bag...based on kak juju's bags...and inspiration that I have been research... I do have pinterest account so I can search more about bags design... do check out what I have been pins http://www.pinterest.com/atikahalya/textile-with-alya/

so I have been reading this book to learn more about batik motif...

my night readings...

inspiration maybe?

what a beauty!...

so after I have been research about my inspirations...I started to look up on pictures of kak juju's bags...in internet...even in pinterest http://www.pinterest.com/atikahalya/textile-with-alya/  ...so here are some sketches that I have been working on...

some of the ideation...

the little things

hai again...so for my next post..i'll be posting about some of the materials that kak juju used for creating her beautiful bags...so here are the materials and sewing machine that she used...

hey there cutie... ;D

so this is the tools that kak juju used for mending the bags...

metal buttons...belt straps...bag hooks...

examples of leather bag strap...she even made this by herself....

                                                           various types of cotton...

I just love this owl pattern fabric <3 ....

colorful sewing threads...

kak juju's very own sewing machine...

this sewing machine are just too cute...its been used by her own son!...

over lock machine...

embroidery sewing machine...

this machine called sizzix...the function is to cut felt fabric according its motif design...

here kak juju show how to cut the fabric according its design ...the is machine is same as the sizzix,,,it called go baby!...

so kak juju roll out the fabric...so the machine cuts the fabric...

so here is the results...the fabric has been cut out according it's motif...

Beside using cotton fabrics for her materials...kak juju even use different types of fabric such as PU leather...and felts...

here are the PU leather collections...

various colour of felt fabric...
